Technological Innovation Empowers the Transportation Construction

On September 27, Mr. Zhai Jun delivered a keynote speech——"Innovative Application of Intelligent Transportation Based on Intelligent Connected Technology" during the 2021 WICV(World Intelligent Connected Vehicle Conference). 

Mr. Zhai Jun pointed out that the intelligent networking aimed to realizing autonomous driving. 

This goal spawns a series of advanced technologies in the fields of automobile, information communication and transportation.

VanJee always keeps pace with the development of industry. Thus, VanJee achieves some progresses:

Mr. Zhai Jun said that the innovative technology of intelligent network connection can provide rich application scenarios for vehicle-road collaboration and autonomous driving.

Besides, VanJee was also committed to improve the roads’ level of digitalization, network connection and intelligence. And it would solve practical technical problems for some traditional traffic application scenarios.  

VanJee focused on applying the innovative technology of intelligent networking to intersections in the urban scene. And VanJee formed a solution for holographic intersections.

The solution mainly included the following factors:

④Full situational awareness of intersections.

⑤Comprehensive judgment analysis.

⑥Signal adaptive optimization.

⑦multi-dimensional information release.

As a result, this solution effectively improved traffic efficiency and standardized the traffic order at intersections.

At the same time, this solution also solved the problem of safe passage of autonomous driving in urban mixed traffic flow scenarios, especially at intersections.

The foresight of holographic intersections is that the intersection has the same perception accuracy to road environment like high-level autonomous vehicles.

VanJee’s technology can send the roadside perception information to autonomous vehicle in real time through 5G or V2X technology. 

These information provide ultra-long-line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight perception capabilities to driving vehicles.

And it will solve the perception bottleneck problem of autonomous driving at intersections.

Expressway is an important application scenario of the solution.

Mr. Zhai Jun said that the construction of smart expressways gradually became more rational and realistic in recent years. And the construction of smart expressways paid more attention to solving practical problems with advanced technology.

In this context, VanJee proposed solutions for digital tunnels, digital toll stations and digital service areas to solve the safety, efficiency and service issues of expressways in key sections.

Tunnel traffic accidents are the pain points of expressways. The operation management and travel services of tunnels mainly focus on the prevention, detection and disposal of tunnel traffic accidents. 

VanJee realizes the digital reconstruction of tunnels according to holographic perception front-end, centimeter-level high-precision maps, 3D modeling of real scenes, and intelligent matching of vehicle features.

 

"Tunnel monitoring system monitors every vehicle entering the tunnel about its real-time position and running status. And it realizes a monitoring map of tunnel in all areas."

In the monitoring system, each vehicle is not RGB Pixel points, but structured feature date. 

And the feature date enables the system to have the following functions:

①Global operation monitoring.

②Accurate control of all measures. 

③System-wide emergency response. 

④All-round accompanying services.

In recent years, various demonstration areas in China continuously implement VanJee's urban and inter-city comprehensive solutions, including:

①Suzhou High-speed Railway New City.

②Chongqing Liangjiang New District National Vehicle Network Pilot Zone.

③Xiong'an High-speed Railway Station.

④Guangzhou Guangming Expressway Prayer Tunnel.

⑤Shaanxi Xihan Expressway Qinling No. 1 Tunnel.

And Guangzhou Guangming Expressway Clifford Tunnel enters normal operation among these areas. At the same time, the construction achieves remarkable results.

Mr. Zhai Jun believes that the intelligent network technology will continue to iterate and get more wide applications through the continuous implementation and realization of projects.

Then the intelligent network technology will solve the industry pain points in various fields of intelligent transportation and actively promote the development of vehicle-road coordination technology.
