VanJee supports the lightweight upgrade of Ruishu Information's new handheld surveying products
Aug 26,2026
With the ongoing advancement of real-scene 3D China and digital twin construction, 3D surveying and mapping equipment is accelerating its development toward portability, intelligence, and high precision. On March 12, Ruishu Information officially launched the brand-new space surveying instrument RayZoom G50 (Raven), equipped with VanJee LiDAR WLR-722 (16-line) LiDAR. Previously, Ruishu Information launched the RayZoom G200 (Hawk) spatial surveying instrument, which has successfully applied the LiDAR 722 (32-line) product in the same series. The release of the RayZoom G50 further demonstrates VanJee LiDAR's product adaptability and scenario support in handheld mobile surveying.

The RayZoom G200 and RayZoom G50 are equipped with the VanJee LiDAR WLR-722 PTZ series LiDAR
Currently, handheld surveying equipment must not only meet the demands of high-precision data acquisition, but also balance overall weight, battery life, comfort in hand, and stable operation in complex environments. Relying on technological accumulation in mechanical rotating LiDAR, lightweight design, low-power control, and highly reliable structures, VanJee LiDAR has launched the LiDAR 722 Dome series, continuously providing a solid perception foundation for spatial information acquisition devices, helping partners create more efficient and portable integrated mapping solutions.

LiDAR 722 (32 lines) empowers the RayZoom G200 — Balancing large-scale scene coverage with detailed reproduction
As a high-performance handheld 3D spatial acquisition and modeling device launched by Ruishu Information, the RayZoom G200 targets higher precision and broader surveying needs. Its LiDAR 722 (32 lines) features a 360° ×62° ultra-wide field of view, combined with 32-line uniform scanning and 0.3° high resolution, with a maximum measurement distance of 70m, enabling more comprehensive coverage of large spaces. This continuously provides rich environmental feature information for RayZoom G200 SLAM mapping, reducing repetitive data collection and post-stitching workload.

At the same time, the LiDAR 722 (32 lines) can reach a maximum point frequency of 384,000 points per second and has a built-in IMU. Combined with Ruishu Information's independently developed MSF-SLAM algorithm, it effectively corrects point cloud distortion during movement, enabling real-time output of high-quality point cloud data while driving. The highly reliable single-motor structure and low-noise operation of the LiDAR 722 (32 lines) make the RayZoom G200 highly adaptable for museums, libraries, hospitals, and other scenarios.

LiDAR 722 (16 lines) with RayZoom G50 — Taking lightweight surveying and mapping to the next level
The newly released RayZoom G50 focuses more on entry-level users and lightweight work needs. To meet the requirements for miniaturization, low power consumption, and convenient integration in handheld mobile mapping, the LiDAR 722 (16 lines) demonstrates clear advantages. The product measures only φ55×64mm, weighs less than 220g, and has a power consumption as low as 3.7W, effectively reducing the overall load and helping the RayZoom G50 achieve a lighter product form factor, further enhancing flexibility and comfort for handheld work.

In terms of performance, the LiDAR 722 (16 lines) features a 360°×40° hemispherical field of view and a maximum range of 60m, stably outputting high-precision point cloud data, providing reliable point cloud data input for SLAM mapping and multi-sensor fusion on the RayZoom G50. The product also features built-in optical pulse encoding technology, which effectively suppresses co-frequency interference and ensures data quality even in multi-device collaborative operation environments. At the same time, it integrates an IMU chip with temperature compensation calibration, pre-aligning with the point cloud coordinate system, directly outputting precise attitude data and further reducing the complexity of overall device integration and algorithm development.
From the RayZoom G200 to the RayZoom G50, VanJee LiDAR continues to support Ruishu Information in enhancing its handheld surveying product system with mature and reliable lidar products. Today, the LiDAR 722 Ball Machine series has been applied in multiple fields such as architectural surveying, lawn mowing robots, industrial logistics, and robot navigation. With advantages such as high precision, high reliability, and high integration, VanJee LiDAR is continuously expanding the depth of spatial information collection applications, providing more robust sensing support for industry digital upgrades.
