The world's first to pass TÜV Rheinland certification — 3D safety LiDAR

The WLR-719E successfully obtained the German TÜV Rheinland functional safety certification, meeting the requirements of SIL2 and PLd safety levels, becoming the world's first 3D safety lidar product to pass this certification, marking the official entry of safety lidar into the 3D perception era.

At the same time, the WLR-719E has passed more than 30 third-party authoritative tests and more than 110 performance validations covering complex environments such as high and low temperatures, electromagnetic compatibility, and vibration shock, fully demonstrating outstanding safety, reliability, and environmental adaptability, providing solid assurance for the long-term stable operation of industrial equipment.

Four-layer scanning — Building a three-dimensional safety protection space

The WLR-719E innovatively adopts a four-layer scanning plane design of +9°, +4.5°, 0°, and -4.5°, breaking through the limitations of traditional single-plane 2D inspection, creating a complete three-dimensional safety protection space, and delivering a key upgrade for AMRs from flat detection to stereoscopic perception.

The WLR-719E features an ultra-wide 276° field of view and a detection distance of 40 meters, enabling long-range detection and early detection of potential risks during equipment operation; Combined with ±2 centimeters of distance measurement accuracy, it can accurately identify obstacles such as low objects on the ground and suspended structures that traditional methods are hard to detect. The WLR-719E can accommodate up to 128 configurable zone groups, allowing flexible multi-level protection strategies for different working conditions, helping mobile robots achieve smarter obstacle avoidance and navigation decisions based on unified perception.

The world's thinnest design — Integrated navigation and obstacle avoidance

While enhancing safety performance, the WLR-719E also continues VanJee Laser's technological advantages in product miniaturization and high integration.

The WLR-719E stands only 6.48 cm tall, making it one of the thinnest safety lidar sensors currently in the industry. Its compact structure allows it to flexibly adapt to various space-constrained devices, leaving more installation and design room for OEMs. For example, Germany's Still integrated the WLR-719E on the fork tips of its automated forklifts—in such extreme installation space, sensing solutions that can simultaneously meet safety certification and size requirements are extremely limited.
