VanJee Technology Shines at the 2023 Thailand Roads and Traffic Conference

The Roads and Traffic Thailand 2023 conference occurred at Bangkok's BITEC Convention Center to boost Thailand's transportation with global smart traffic solutions.

In partnership with Thai collaborators, VanJee introduced an smart intersection solution for Thailand's Department of Highway (DOH). Located at the crucial entry and exit point of Prasert-Manukitch Road and Rachada-Ramintra Road in Bangkok's northeast, this intersection handles high traffic flow and intricate planning.

VanJee has deployed two Smart Base Stations (SBS) at the intersection, integrating technologies like WLR-721 64-line LiDAR, high-definition cameras, V2X RSUs, and edge computing modules. These stations enable real-time digital twinning, allowing dynamic lane adjustments, optimized signal light timing, precise law enforcement, and a potential 30% to 50% increase in peak-hour traffic efficiency.

VanJee's LiDAR vehicle identification solution offers precise vehicle classification data for toll stations, providing multidimensional and high-precision data, even at high speeds of 0-100 km/h. It accurately captures vehicle type, tire type, and axle count, beneficial for high-speed toll departments.

VanJee’s oversize detection solution precisely measures vehicle length, width, and height data, showcasing minimal errors in high-speed scenarios. With errors less than 50 cm in length and less than 10 cm in height and width, it facilitates effective inspections via 3D vehicle point cloud imaging for government departments.
