On March 1, in the laboratory of Wuhan VanJee Optoelectronics Technology located in Optics Valley Huagong Science and Technology Park, young scientific researchers tested LiDAR products. LiDAR is known as the “eye” of autonomous vehicles. Because of its high precision and good environmental adaptability, it is widely used in autonomous driving assistance scenarios such as mobile robots and intelligent networked vehicles. According to reports, In VanJee Optoelectronics, research and development personnel accounted for 80%, and more than 70% had a master’s degree or above. Most of them graduated from first-class universities inside China and abroad such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University, and the National University of Singapore. The company’s products have been applied in many intelligent network projects such as Ezhou Airport Expressway, Xiongan New District, Suzhou High-speed Railway New City, and Guangzhou Qifu Tunnel. At present, the company has been authorized 273 LiDAR patents.
