Successful Delivery! VanJee's First C-V2X Project Lands in Bangkok, Thailand

VanJee Technology successfully delivered its first overseas smart connected vehicle intersection project (VanJee C-V2X+LiDAR Smart Intersection Solution) in Bangkok, Thailand on August 9, 2023. The city faces serious traffic issues.

VanJee is collaborating with local partners and provides smart intersection solution for the Department of Highway(DOH). The trial project is setting at the busy Prasert-Manukitch Road intersection in northeast Bangkok, handling a high volume of vehicles. With five lanes in different directions, it causes significant traffic flow and complex planning.

VanJee installed two sets of Smart Base Stations (SBS) at this intersection to ensure real-time monitoring. These stations include advanced sensors like WLR-721 64-line LiDAR, high-definition cameras, V2X RSU, and edge computing modules. VanJee LiDAR precisely scans traffic flow and behavior. It analyze traffic flow and violations, the team adjusted signal timings and lane designs in real-time, enhancing control and optimizing the intersection. This holographic intersection aids real-time traffic control, improving efficiency by 30% to 50% during peak hours.

This project marks VanJee's successful delivery of its first overseas smart intersection project. VanJee is aiming to tackle traffic and safety issues globally at major intersections, using digital twinning and signal control to reduce congestion in cities worldwide.
